hot tub jet replacement?

I need to get some hot tub jet replacements in Des Moines, Iowa however I dont have a model number or name. they are generic and the hot tub doesnt have a "name" either. My husband bought it years ago and now we cant find the man that sold it to him. Where/how can i find replacement jets?

Can you remove one of the jets? If so, take one to a reputable pool and spa store. My local pool supply has been invaluable over the years. They've saved me thousands of dollars by telling me what I needed, even when they didn't carry it.

Never traveled far from Iowa? Help?

Me and my best friend are planning a trip to LA for when we turn 16(in 3 years) the time of the trip it will be two 16 year old girls and 1 perhaps 2 30 plus year old mothers. We are some smallish(des Moines, Iowa) city girls from the middle class, not well traveled.. I want to know:
What beaches are safest and most appropriate to visit with over protective mothers?
What are some must see locations ?
A good hotel to stay in? Preferably a nice one? We are wanting a higher class experience. Bellhop, spa, fitness room, swimming pool, hot tub, ectcetera
Other suggestions????
