I have a hot tub that is broken and not worth fixing anymore. Do the components of the spa have valuable metals that would be worth extracting to salvage any value left and just how hard is it to get them out?? Thank you.

nothing much of value...however.... the pump, the fittings and even the controllers may have value to another owner of the same brand tub. The tub itself is of no value. Dont give it away unless you dont want to mess with it. Find the pump, grab a saw and cut it free, snip the wires and salvage the controls. Repair companies charge an arm and a leg for these products. put them on craigslist or something and make sure to write down any information from the tub such as brand and model number so others can make a match. dont give up. that pump and controls takes up next to no space at home and does have value.
