Just curious. I know monthly costs vary widely based on the type of tub, etc, but I'd like to see how much people who have hot tubs are actually paying monthly. Please include where you live so I know how warm the weather is!

What should be done to old hot tub to make a good planter?

Other than fill it with dirt, what else can we do to make the old hot tub a good planter? We figure we should drill holes and put some mesh-type fabric inside under the dirt. Rocks on the bottom? Anything else? Thanks.

Rock bottom, drill holes and healthy soil on top is really a great idea that I can't think of anything better.
