Well I haven't exactly figured out what my price range is. I wanted to rent a cabin out because there is a bunch of us going and that is a reasonable price for everyone to pitch into. I was thinking of staying right on the beach there, but I have never been there so I'm not exactly sure what to do how to start this

How close to the park and what price range are you interested in? There are a couple options: There is a camp ground right at the entrance if your interested in camping, I believe there are cabins but probably filled for the summer, there is a cheapo motel right before the entrance called the El Patio (alot of fishermen that come to go fishing stay there). Feel free to contact me and I can give you more options.
The camp ground I believe is called Sara's. You may want to try to get a hold of them, its a pretty popular place and may be booked for the season. There is also a motel called Rivera..it has heart shaped hot tubs :) There is also a Hampton Inn that is really close to the entrance...its on 12th street.

Has anyone ever visited this park? Is it worth the money i mean for the water park and is it fun for children? i am planning a trip and my son loves water and it's winter so i decided on an indoor waterpark. please give me all your thoughts if you have been here before thank you.

my family just went a couple of weeks ago and it wus awsome. there were ppl having fun of all ages. many slides ranging on different thrills - for young kids and teens. a lot of lifeguards, kids hot tubs,waterbasketball, childrens area slides and pools and lots of lounge spots. id say its worth the money and if you like to shop there are huge malls around and lots of restaurants all on the same road as splash lagoon. theres also an awsome arcade your son would love and lazer tag that lasts 24 minutes 6 minutes at a time. you and your son would have an awsome time at splash lagoon! its the perfect park it feels like ur somewhere hot and tropical in the middell of winter! totally worth it
