Q. How do you figure out how much a hot tub is worth? It was a couple hundred more than 6 grand when we bought it 3 years ago, good condition, and not really used very much at all. Estimant?

I answered in the other question...3500. What I look at when evaluating a tub is who made it...in your case Sundance (GREAT Company!)...what condition the Frame and Cabinet is in. If the pump seals are leaking. If there is corrosion around the heater...over all cleaness of the tub since if it is dirty the odds are the customer didn't pay much attention to water chemistry. I do quiz them on their knowledge of chemicals since that also will give me an idea of how long the heater (3-5 years) will last, pumps (5-7 years) etc.. The cover is replaceable at 400 bucks or so.
