Outdoor hot tub ran fine for two years and one morning the breaker is flipped. Reset the breaker and it flips?

Could this be a worn heating element?
It is the GFCI breaker that flips. The hot tub has it's own room and it's own breaker box. Nothing else runs from it.

Thank you all so much for your answers!

Answer
That would be the first place to check.
If you can disconnect (unplug) your heating element it would help to determine if it is the element or a short to ground in the motor

Siphon problem from cold to hot water when adding outside line to cold line.?

Q. Siphoning hot water through kitchen faucet after tapping into "COLD PIPE" to add another "outside faucet" to side of house. Now getting hot water outside due to siphoning action through kitchen faucet.

Answer
I don't see how it could siphon off the hot side since the water is just bypassing the line leading up to the faucet and going out the outdoor spigot. Is this new outside faucet installed on the side of the house or buried underground then stubbed out a distance away? If the latter, the water could be getting heated by the ground if it's exposed to direct sunlight.
If the water is real hot then you might of tapped into the hot water line by accident. Some plumbers doing new homes will run the hot and colds to the sinks then T off those to run the lines to the commodes, tubs and washer hose bibs thru the wall studs. Those aren't color coded with paint nor tape so can be easy to T into the wrong one since both are the same temperature when the water is shut off.
