My hot tub is outside, the temp is zero, and it desperately needs repair. Can it be saved?

I have a Calspa hot tub about 9 years old. It's outside, in Michigan's cold winters, which is when it gets most of it's use. I replaced the motor in October 2007. It's now half buried in snow, running, but leaking. I add water every two weeks to keep it going until spring when I can have it checked out. Now the motor is making noise. It's zero outside, and very difficult to get access to the motor for repairs. If the motor goes, everything will freeze. Should I let it go and replace it in the spring? Will insurance cover the damage?

I think it can be saved. According to how the hot tub works, the hot tub sucks in water and pours them out with force. It should be only frozen and maybe some bits of dirty stuff may be in it. But from what you described , it's in a pretty bad condition. It has a chance about 25% chance of being fixed and working perfectly fine.
