Resellers might be the answer, problem is the mechanics are probably suspect. I've got an old dead hot tub in my yard right now. Could be you could get a dead one for the cost of getting it out of people's yard and have the mechanics rebuilt.
A two seater will have to be small, 110 electricity, not 220 needed for larger spas, that will help with price, but they are still over $2,000. Inflatables are $650...do a web search.
Finally, do a web search for building your own hottub! They are available. .

Hot Tub Purchase Advice?

famousauth
I'm looking into purchasing a hot tub in the next few months and I would like some guidance. I've checked out a lot of different tubs at a lot of different pricing options. I've found that they are either too expensive which is a no-brainer, but I've also seen some 'too good to be true' prices. I'm looking for good quality and decent prices. If I'm going to spend this kind of money I want to know I'm getting a good product. I'm looking for anyone with hot tub experience, places to shop, types of tubs, etc to help me out with this decision. I'm looking for a 4, 5 or 6 person and looking to spend less than 4gs (if possible).
Any help/guidance/advice is appreciated.
Thanks
To Brian,
I've actually looked into Hot Springs but they aren't really being cooperative when it comes to pricing. They just keep spam mailing me and when I talk to them, they're not giving me a straight answer. If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for yours?

I have owned both an Artesian tub and Hot Spring based on their reviews, quality, and energy efficiency. I bought the Artesian tub with my first house and then the Hot Spring with my second and I will always stick with a Hot Spring tub for sure!! I have had it for 3 years now, spent a little more but couldn't be more happy. DO not buy from a home center, yes they are cheap but as they say you get what you pay for and you don't want that electric bill each month as my neighbor does. Be careful because a LOT of dealers have spas with bells and whistles that look good but fall apart and leak later on. Again, my recommendation is Hot Spring...I love it and so does my wife and kids!
