How do you buy a Hot Tub on The Sims 3?

My sims keep wanting to get a Hot Tub, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I've looked in buy mode, built mode and the family inventory but no Hot Tub! I have the Ambitions expansion and my games updated.

Unfortunately, hot tubs do not come with the base game. You can get them with the Late Night expansion pack, but you can also acquire them by getting the Outdoor Living stuff pack too, which is cheaper than buying the Late Night expansion.

Ohk so one of my sims want a hot tube, but i don't know where it would be located to buy it, I have the sims 3, and i added the expansion pack of the ambitions to it, but i looked every where for the hot tube and i just can't find it, can some please help me Locate it PLEASE !

You say you have Sims 3 Ambitions and the Base Game.
Well, first of all, the hot tub comes with the Late Night Expansion pack.
Second of all, if you had or have Late Night, it would be located in the "Outdoors" section, under "Outdoor Activities", the picture of the football.
Sometimes if you update your game but don't have all the expansions, Sims will have wishes that come from expansion packs you don't have. I remember before I got Late Night and World Adventures my sims wanted to get Hot Tubs and go on trips all the time. :)
