My husband and I are planning a 5 day romantic central coast vacation in end of June. We will be stopping in Solvang, pismo beach and Morro bay. We are planning to take the full day "grapeline winery picinic tour" where they will take us to 4-5 different Santa Barbara wineries as we don't want to drive. We are also planning to stop by at Lafond vineyards in San luis obispo and probably do some hiking to see waterfalls near big sur. I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions for this central coast vacation. Is biking along the Foxen trail in Santa Barbara recommended? Which wine trails are better for a day trip or should we just stick to grapeline shuttle? Any good hotels or other activities on the central coast that we should not miss? Thanks!

I live in SB, and it sounds like you are on the right track. Some of the wineries that I like are Curtis, Zaca Mesa, Mosby, Rideau and Sunstone. Firestone is the largest in the area.
For a real treat there is a nice spa in the area, called Sycamore Springs. If you stay there, most rooms have their own private hot tub, or you can come for the day and rent a private tub by the hour. They also have hiking trails and great massages. I went their for a girls trip, but it is more suited to couples. I have given you the link below.
The Madonna Inn would also be a great place to stay. I'll give you that link as well.
Have a great time. The whole area is beautiful, you really can't go wrong.
