It is not a really a resort. Its an area by the lake. They have some hot tubs. Its not much. A couple of green belts,
trailers, and a few hot tubs. It's a popular place for boating. At night , young adults like to like to hot tub it ,and party.
If thats your thing, than go for it.
Be careful though, because Pomona, Ca. is a seriously bad area, even to the north there where the lake is at.
It's a town that has been over run with drugs, violence, and prostitution.
Someones getting killed every coupl of days there.
Its not a huge town either. One month last year there were around 15-18 murders all in the same area.
The addicts, and gangsters rob and strong arm people in laundrymats, and parking lots.
The drugs dealers are gangsters, predators and criminals. They stop at nothing to get what they want.
The majority of them are bisexual gangsters, and they when want sex, that dont care who they get it from.
They take "crack cocaine" (extremely addicting) to older people, at the senior apartments, and also, young teen boys , and get them started on the drug.
They give it to them for free at first. When the people are addicted to it , they start to take advantage them.
The victims get so addicted, that they are willing to do whatever they have to do to get the drug.
So, there's 14+yr old boys, and 55-75+ yr. old "men", and "women" that are forced to perform humiliating sex acts on the freaks.
And the old folks are handing over they s.s checks to them too.
Drugging and raping victims is also a another common occurance.
Im not making this up. Its true.
So, if I were you, I would stay away from Pomona.

Ashes all over southern california.. throat is killing me.. help?

In case some of you havent heard, there are fires all over southern california. I was in buena park on sunday and monday morning which is close to malibu was out and about and there were ashes flying everywhere.. came back monday to go to work in Pomona and the foothill region.. ashes everywhere because of the ontario and foothill ranch fire.. so now my throat is killing me.. Keep coughing and feel like there is something in my throat.. I cant lose my voice.. had problems days ago due to bronchitis.. feel like i got over it but this is making my throat hurt again.. just throat.. any advice?

I would stay inside the house. Health Officials say to
Run an air conditioner, if you have one.
This is just an idea........I don't really know.
My idea is that if there is moisture in the air, it will help to collect the smoke particles. Moisture will also do you well to breathe due to bronchitis.
run a vaporizer in a smaller room where you can close the door ....... or boil a huge pot of water on the stove..........
......... go into the bathroom and close the door (if no children in house stop-up the tub) and run hot water to turn the air steamy. Just stay closed-up in such a room for long periods of time until the air begins to clear.
A word of advice -- call your local Dr. or ER to ask concerning the smoky air and your bronchitis & sore throat. Do as they recommend.
