We're considering buying 1 of 2 houses, both have natural gas furnaces and 125A services... We'd want to change to a heat pump and add a hot tub on the deck of either one... one place is 2400sf, the other is 2800sf...
Do we typically need to upgrade to 200A to do this? If so, roughly what would it cost?

Heat pumps are 100% efficient . But they use allot of juice .It's for this reason the power co. gives discounts to home owners that install heat pumps. Don't fall into this trap .Unless you don't mind thousand dollar per month elec. bills. If you up grade to a 200 amp service ,be prepared to pay high costs to a Service company for the up grade and then again to the electric companies.

Hey. I'm searching for hotels or motels in or near Wayne or Passaic County New Jersey with hot tubs. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS. Teterboro, Fairfield, Totowa areas okay too.

Search on Hotels websites like Choicehotels.com, which is the HOTEL Chain that I work for. . .they have lots of Hotels across the U.S. and Internationally as well. . but you could also try. . Hotels.com, Hilton.com, Best Western.com, Mariott, etc etc etc. . .just search. . .it's your best bet and then when you look for a room look for the one with a whirlpool tub in the room under the specifications of what that room type includes, however if your not finding that room type on their webiste, give the hotel a call and see what they have available on the nights your wanting to stay, and see what the prices are too, because usually the prices offered to you online are going to be the BEST rate available to you as well. Also don't forget if you have discounts like AARP, AAA, military etc, usually you will get an additional discount as well too. . HOPE THIS HELPS! Good luck on your search.
