I'm going on the Carnival Fantasy cruise in a few weeks with my family. I am 15, and they are all over 21, so they will be doing all of the fun shows and things with an age limit at night. What should I do?
Answer
Carnival has a great teen club called Club 02, which is for 15-17 year olds. You can meet lots of friends there and it's totally free. Club 02 has dances, games, movies, music, contests, etc. It's so much fun! Try it out - if you don't like it, just don't come back. You can come and go as you please. There is someone supervising but they just hang out with you. I recommend you join on the first night, because the later you join, the closer everyone else is and the more of an outsider you may feel. Everyone's usually pretty friendly and groups are formed by the end of the cruise. But if you join on the first night, you won't have that "new kid at school" feeling because everyone there is new to each other. Most teens on a cruise tend to join, unless they already have friends with them or are loners that tan all day.
Other things you can do:
- pool (pool parties)
- hot tub
- gym
- spa
- eat!!
- jog
- mini golf
- shop
- take lessons
- contests
- shows (there are still a lot of music performances and stuff at night that you can go to!)
- movies
I don't know if all of these are available at night. These also depend on the ship and I haven't been on the Fantasy so it may have a few more or might not have some I listed.
Also, at your age, I'm guessing you drink a lot of soda? They can get pretty expensive when you add them all up. I recommend a Fountain Fun Card, a card that gives you unlimited fountain drinks for the whole cruise. You just pay a few dollars per day, which saves you a lot of money if you plan on drinking a lot of sodas.
Oh, and also check out the view! At night, it's so beautiful out. It is during the day time as well, but at night you can't see anything around you but the stars and maybe the lights of a nearby port.

Have fun!

Writers: Please help! How woul you describe this picture?

it's a big indoor pool, but it's supposed to be underground, with a hot tub on one end of it, and a lazy river flowing out into the backyard. Like a hole was dug under the house (seems a little unrealistic, but hey, my book is a fantasy :) thanks for your help, it's appreciated!
oops, I spelled "would" wrong... my bad
Well I would have them in an underwater cave, but they're kind of supposed to be training and it's supposed to be underneath their training area (aka a mansion that the world's richest train at + live there)
(it's for a book about teenage superheroes, and this was the only pic I could find with a ledge on the pillars, which is a big part of the story)
Answer
Crumbling upthrusts of mosaic rock stood like pillars in the mire
Sensual lamps of pink and orange dimly lit the [space]
Feathery swaths of ferns potted in the corners
I would also add something about butterflies or swans and perhaps:
A passing whisper of a breeze pulled lazy vapours off the serene surface of the water (??)
