We have seen Hot Springs Soverign, Sundance Cameo, Optima, Master spa LSX 700. All have good features and soem less so. We are very confused and want to narrow it down before wet test. We live on Long lIsland , NY and and electric rates are high so it is a consideration but not the breaking poiint since all sem to be fairly close. Thanks

Those are three great tubs! BUT...I am not a fan of the ancient technology as far as jets go for the hotspring tubs so that was the easiest to elminate. I think Sundance is one steller product from top to bottom, but it does not have that seat the LSX has. I am in love with that captains seat. By the way I sold Sundance and was happy...then went to Masterspa and was happier. I traded my Maxxus for a 1050 LSX. Being where you are just make sure your local dealer has been in business for a while. They really are both great tubs but I have 80% of my back fused so for me it's more about therapy so I need those extra jets. All three have excellent warranties on what maters and that is the equipment/plumbing (not the structure and shell). The actual cost will not vary more then 10 bucks a month between the three. All htree have excellent insulation. Just make sure you have the thickest cover available. NOw to really make you confused...if Masterspa had sundances jets....(How they are made) I would never even think of another brand. Zero repairs in 3 years and I can't even begin to tell you how many Hotsprings jets I replace.

we bought a house and the hot tub was already here. We filled it up and started it. It does not have a contol deal on the top and the water is not heating up. it ran for two days and we put chemicals in it to clear the water and clean everything. Then it started shutting off by itself. you hook it back up and it will run and then shut off again. If anyone knows anything about this will you please let me know. Thank you

I am not sure about the brand name, but check under the spa, where the acess door is. You will see the pump motor, and maybe on top of that will be the heating element with a control knob on it. If thats the case, turn the knob clockwise. There also may be a reset switch located somewhere on the heater as well. Just look around under there, you should find it somewhere.
