Hi,
The hot tubs are made by Infinity Tubs based out of Johnsonville TN. They have good elecronics, pumps and mid level jets. They could use some more insulation if you are in a cold climate. They stand behind their warranty. (I work on many). All tubs will break down in time. They are entry level priced and that makes up for everything I do not like. Overall I like thier product. It does make my blood boil though that if there is a problem with anything at costco that the product in this case a hot tub isn't fixed when returned and is in fact "Chipped up to little pieces" when they could have been donated to a nice local charity to place them with the handicap. (Everything is fixable, especially new) Buy the tub and be happy...if your into hot water with bubbles. If you need it for true therapy then perhaps you should spend double that and get a Sundance, Master spa or Hot springs.

I am looking for a 4 person hot tub to be placed on my patio. I want it to be energy efficient and reliable with good water movement. Any suggestions of a good manufacturer or model? Thanks.

If there is a local dealer in your area you will be better to deal there. If you buy from a Costco , you better be the handy-man type! Sometimes a few $$ saved is not worth the hassle later. Most spa dealers will not service the ones they don't sell.
As far as quality.....go with a known manufacturer and they are all comparable to operate as far as $$.
Recommend Beachcomber, Coast, Arctic, Cal-spa.
