I was also 25 when my son my born and I also had a planned unassisted homebirth and unassisted pregnancy. Everything went great!!
I didn't give birth in the water. But I did sit in the hot tub to relieve pain. And when I felt the baby crown, I got out of the water and got on the bed, in a kneeling position. I gave some pushes and the baby came out! Wow I felt euphoric and empowered for weeks, like I've been on cloud 9!
What I did when I was in labor was WALK, WALK, WALK alot in our bedroom. I also ran a hot comfortable shower down my back. I drank a lot of water and I ate some. Then my spouse ran a hot comfortable bath and I soaked in there and rested until I felt the baby was ready to come out. If you do not push, the baby will come out naturally by themself. Or you can push gently, so the baby can come out faster. Make sure to put oil in your perineum so you will not tear.
If you tear, it will heal anyway, so don't worry.
*You can also buy a birthing stool to rest when you are tired of walking. Birthing balls are great too!

After the baby was born, we put the baby on my chest. And wow, the baby was sooooo peaceful, he never gave a loud cry like other babies born in the hospital. And we waited for the placenta to be born. *Do not cut the cord when it is still pulsing. Wait to cut the cord when it turns white. Or wait till the midwife arrives so she can do it.
If I had a midwife, I would not even tell her that I would go UC. I will just have a UC birth as planned and would just call the midwife after the baby is born.
That's what I heard other people did.

Hot Tub from Home Depot?

italien_ch
I was looking into buying a hot tub, but i really did not want to spent alot of money. I saw some hotubs out there for $16,000. I found one at the Home Depot for only $4298. The model I liked is the Crete 390S. It is an 8 person tub with 40 jets! If you have ever owned or ever been in a Home Depot hot tub or have any experiecne with this hot tub, please write a review for it or tell me anything i should know before i purchase this tub.
Thank-you

Hello.
I have to tell you I use to sell Sundance Spas and Master Spas. Two great spa lines. Now I repair every hot tub line that is sold under warranty in the USA. The Infinity spa is a good decent solid entry-mid level spa. They use Balboa electronics and water way jets etc... I do like their customer service when you do get them (It may take 15 minutes) since they do note everything and relay it to me the service guy in a nice form and timely manner. They have fast service times compared to most of the other companies I do work for.
The thing you really need to take note of is if you buy their best you will be able to buy it almost three times (or repair it 5 times) compared to the top brands one time. That is something to realize since every tub is going to break in time. Most of the time due to bad chemistry.
RW please hardwire your Dream maker spa. The failure rate for the corded GFI is very high and causes fires in some of them that I have seen.
