Can I put a hot tub in my garage?

runningtos

What would I need to do about ventilation, there is a sizable window but I am worried about condensation.

Its a huge 4 car garage and I want to section one part off as an enclosed Gym etc

Thanks

Answer
They make enclosed gazebos for hot tubs, I don't see why you couldn't put it in the garage. Check to see if your electric service will meet the requirements. The place you purchase the hot tub should be able to answer most of your questions. Good luck!

we want to build a sunroom on our house, pros & cons to stick or metal with hot tub inside?

We hear pros and cons re: both on having a hot tub in sunroom re: heat and moisture. Can anyone really help, and answer our question?

Answer
Have you considered an outdoor gazebo for your hot tub instead of a sun room? The reason I say something is because with an indoor room, the ventilation for your hot tub really isn't adequate. I've serviced several hot tubs located in in-door patios and the humidity level in the room was outrageous.

Another thing you should be concerned about is the ability to remove the hot tub if you ever needed to replace or dispose of it. Just a thought to ponder.

I would recommend building a nice gazebo with enough canopy room to accommodate a hot tub and maybe a small table. Sounds nice to me.

Hope this helps you further your decision.
