This past sunday my husband and I had sex in our hot tub and salt water pool. My vagina has been feeling a little irritated and swollen. Could this be a yeast infection or UTI or what?

Yes this could be a yeast infection.
This may seem very cozy & sexy for a romatic evening of love making but it's actually the worst way to do.
To much warmth and moisture can & will irritaite the vagina. With water and the salt being pushed up inside repeatedly have irritated you.
You can use the infection test in the feminine alse at the store, (walmart) to comfirm instead of going to the doc.
Just treat it over the counter. Once confirmed.

Salt water tub? That's odd since the volume doesn't warrant it nor does the dump you ought to be doing on a monthly basis for a residential spa. I'm having a problem understanding what you're asking here. A leak and bleaching?
Uhhh, you're dealing with hot water. That in itself is aggressive. Add to that an out of balance tub and you're asking for trouble when it comes to your element heater. Your filter and pump will live, but that heater element is metallic, in a high erosion zone and subject to both chem and mechanical issues.
It would help considerably if you posted exactly what you're after, be it chem wise or mechanical.
@ Laura: Your mold problem is common. High heat combined with a closed lid. You probably use bromine as a sanitizer. You aren't alone and you'll just have to scrub it like everyone else. I would have a look at your sanitizer levels though. It's possible you're not at 3.0 Br .
