Are there any cheap places to stay near summit county for the weekend?

Recently moved to Denver and I am excited about the upcoming ski season. I was wondering what most people from denver that ski do for the weekends. Do you just drive up there saturday and sunday, or are there cheap places to stay somewhere around Dillon so you can stay the night on saturday and just make the trip once? It seems a little long of a trip to go back and forth, but seems kinda short to have to pay a lot of money to stay up there.

Beaver Run is great! its about 120 a night for a really nice room. It also has ski lockers, 3 hot tubs, and indoor pool, game room, really great staff, and the best part - ITS SKI IN SKI OUT! so its literally at the base of peak 9 and walking distance to main street. Best place ive stayed hands down. Other than that in dillion they over charge you for condos and the hotels are kind of standard quality inn style. Up in silverthorne theres also some cheaper condos to stay in (i recommend the birdhouse)

We live in the Southeast and are going to take a vacation sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We've been to San Diego, Vegas, Grand Canyon, Denver, Dallas/Ft Worth, Philadelphia, and Atlantic City in the last two years. But I'm not really sure where we should go next. Any suggestions?
