What are the risks of using a jacuzzi during pregnancy?

I am going away for a few days and will have use of a hot tub, I will be 10 weeks pregnant. Is it safe to use it or not? Thanks x

The point that it is bad is if your Temperature rises about 102. My mother has a hot tub and I have used weekly it helps alot with back discomfort. My mom keeps it at 98 which MY DOCTOR said was okay because it wasn't above body temp and yes at that temp it still feels dang good.

My husband & I are trying for our first baby and we have a hot tub that we normally sit in a couple times a week. Lately, I have been scared of sitting in the hot tub because we're trying to conceive. I of course don't know yet if I'm pregnant but there is a couple weeks between my ovulation and knowing if I'm pregnant or not. Can I sit in a hot tub in those couple weeks of the unknown?

It really doesn't matter if you sit in the hot tub but the heat is killing your husband's sperm count. The only thing my OB told my husband to do while ttc is avoid hot tubs. Once you are pregnant then you aren't suppose to use hot tubs, when my husband and I used ours during my firs pregnancy I would sit with just my legs in. In my 3rd trimester we turned the heat down so I could use it and relieve pressure on my hips.
