sorry i didn't know a lot of these bands but you listed some that i really like.

BQ: bands that should break up in 2010? should? idk, but i'm worried about A7x now that The Rev passed. R.I.P. :'(

I noticed something different in Patricia, a change. The past few years had been rough ones. We'd had a child we didn't expect, and along with that the increased responsibility and stress, plus the diminution of time that we had to spend together alone.

We had always had a good sex life before the child. Many times, working outside during the summer, seeing Patricia work up a sweat in shorts and a halter top sent us indoors, outside the view of our neighbors. We would draw the curtains in our bedroom and make love in the cool, hazy afternoon light. We had installed a hot tub on the deck outside the master bedroom. Late at night, Patricia and I would take a single candle out to the warm, churning water and work ourselves into an almost unconscious frenzy, exploring each other's bodies while we played soft, romantic music on our boombox next to the tub.

But a few years of child rearing had ruined that aspect of our lives. We had both gained some weight. We were both exhausted after working outside the home each day, and caring for a demanding child at night.

Then things changed. Our child got older, less demanding of our time. She could spend more time with relatives and sitters. Patricia and I joined a gym, and we both lost weight. Patricia worked the South Beach diet. She lost a total of 50 pounds, and for the first time in years felt good about how she looked. Along with feeling good about herself, she regained her interest in sex.

Early in June, a plain brown package arrived in the mail, addressed to Patricia. I never opened her mail, but when she arrived home, I asked what she had ordered. She was coy, and only answered that it was an early Father's Day present. In the days that followed, more mysterious packages arrived, all addressed to Patricia, all from people and locations that were unfamiliar to me.

Finally, one Friday night, our child was off visiting her grandmother for the weekend. Patricia and I had gone out for drinks and came home early. We were watching television in the basement. âI have a surprise for you,â she told me. âWait right here.â

She disappeared upstairs. I had an idea that her surprise had something to do with the packages, and I was beside myself with anticipation while she was upstairs.

Finally, she slowly descended the stairs. She was wearing thigh-length boots that laced up the side, and a leather bustier! When I blinked my eyes twice, I could see that she was carrying some âaidsâ that she must have ordered along with the clothing.

She came downstairs and selected an adult movie from our cable listings. I got up from my seat and went to her. I held her and we kissed passionately. She whispered in my ear, âIf you really loved me, you'd find an interesting way to use this.â She handed me the âaidâ that was in her hand. Anything that involved this had to be fun!

She slowly began to undress me. Then, from underneath a cushion on the couch, she removed another âaidâ that was meant for me! I liked kinky, yes, but this! When I blinked my eyes twice, I could tell it would involve an act about which I had often fantasized, but had never before discussed with her.

We ripped the cushions off of the couch and spread them onto the floor. We slowly slumped to the floor, exploring each other, our lips and tongues searching every part of our bodies.

From the frying pan into the fire! We took our cues from each other, responding to the visual cues and moans that each of us emitted involuntarily. We took our time, working slowly when either of us seemed to need the stimulation, but quickening to wild excitement when our bodies demanded it.

There are those who are wary of following the leads of their partners. I pity the fool who misses the chance to learn what excites his partner, and in doing so, learns something new that might be exciting to him!
