I've been thinking of getting a stuff pack for the sims 3. But i can't make up my mind...i'm not really interested in getting town life stuff, but i might get either high end loft, outdoor living or fast lane stuff. So, between the three, which should i get? Any suggestions? :)

High-End Loft Stuff is probably the best one out of the three of them. Stuff packs are always just minimal, but I've gotten the most use out of the stuff that came with High-End Loft. It is all in a very ultra-modern style, though, so if that's not your cup of tea it might not be for you. But it does come with a few 10th anniversary goodies like the old love bed and the fish tank from TS1.

Fast Lane Stuff is... meh. I kind of appreciate the retro rockabilly type hairdos and clothes that come with it, and a couple of the cars are ok, but again, it's just ok.

Outdoor Living is also kind of "meh." You get some new chairs and lighting with a curly-cue metal motiff and several new hot tubs.

Don't bother with Town Life Stuff. It doesn't add anything except some new rabbit hole buildings that you can't even see inside of and other useless things like a new washing machine and dryer (exciting stuff, huh?). There ae a few clothes and hairstyles that are so-so, but nothing to write home about. Truthfully, with the exception of like one pair of pants and one of the new windows I've used hardly anything from this stuff pack.

You could also wait for a few months and go for Master Suite Stuff. It focuses mainly on new pajamas and loungewear and romantic stuff and has some cute bouffant 40's-ish hairstyles.

i have put a lot of thought into what i would want my dream house to be like. here goes!
OUTSIDE: large hacienda with spanish tile walkway and arbor leading to the front porch. many gardens with agave plants, palm trees, fruit trees of all kinds, and nut trees too. one great big gazebo in the center of the main garden. the gazebo would be like a banquet area, where it would be possible to have karaoke nights outside, or just parties. a large heart-shaped, stone swimming pool would be in the yard, with a water slide, palm trees, and a smaller heart-shaped hot-tub (made from stone as well) would be beside the pool. i would also have a different pool outside with a lagoon (a water cave) with special lighting effects for romantic evenings in the pool. In the main pool, i would like to have an "island" that someone could float on! the gardens would offer miles and miles of beautiful tracks to walk on, in a beautiful park-like setting. bridges and babbling brooks. picnic tables, in a few designated spots with beautiful views of flowers and the like. there would also be an easy trail to take to get to my own private beach. perfect for those beautiful summer days that are filled with romance! a private beach with beautiful shells and warm sand, and a very fun place to run my dog! one part of the property would be an outdoor playground! i would have the latest models of playground equipment for my children and the children of friends and family to play on. i would also have outdoor tennis courts, a basketball court, and a skate park. on the property, i would also have a few buildings where the help and their families could reside. people such as the chef, maids, butler, and my 24-hr on-call massage therapist could live. on the property, i would also have an entertainment complex. this would be 5 stories of fun! 1st) olympic size indoor swimming pool (with tropical rain forest decor 2nd) ice arena 3rd) 1/2 gymnasium with indoor track for running and 1/2 weight room (would also include locker rooms, showers, and a luxury condo for my personal trainer) 4th) home theater and karaoke bar and 5th) game room - would include full bar, couches and a large-screen tv (where i can set up the wii, and the ps3) AND would include fooseball, darts, pool, air hockey, pin ball machines, and skee ball. oh, i suppose i would also include a 6th floor that would be a roller rink, but with the flip of a switch, it would turn into an indoor skate park.
INSIDE: the main house would be GORGEOUS! the inside would be all spanish tile flooring except for the main living room and all bedrooms. there would be 12 bedrooms, and a large master suite. a double stair case leads up to the second floor where most bedrooms are. the third story would be nothing but the master suite. a large california king, wrought-iron canopy bed would be in the master suite, as well as a kitchenette, each of us would have our own office, and there would be a bathroom which is roughly the size of one of the large bedrooms downstairs. in the bathroom, there would be a large double shower, as well as a stone jacuzzi tub. off to the side in the bedroom is a set of french doors that leads out to a terrace which is our balcony. the balcony is covered with beautiful flowers that bloom year-round, and are always fragrant. there would be a very large and comfortable hammock for star-gazing together, as well as a table and two chairs for romantic candle-lit dinners just the two of us, or maybe a night-cap. the main floor of the house would of course include the main living room, a large library and media center with computers, a large professional style kitchen, a family dinning room, and a formal dinning room. a foyer, a den, and a smaller living room with a tv. the grand entry would include a water fountain with a water fall, a large grandfather clock, and a baby-grand piano (i would hire someone to play music for guests who are arriving for a party). i would also have the basement of the house to have a large banquet hall for hosting parties,and it would include a full bar and a stage for karaoke as well. it would be complete with a disco ball!
