best hot tubs of 2012 image

rusty shak
I'm going to get rid of this old eyesore but I was wondering if it would be worth it to pull any parts off it to try to sell on ebay or something? Any motors, pumps, heaters worth grabbing before I trash the rest?
Answer
Wait don't trow it away yet, look at link below:

Pain in my hamstrings when running track?

TALLguy18
I am a senior in high school 2012 track and field and during springs the area halfway between the back of my knees and my butt hurts.
Here's what I am doing:
Massaging with icy hot in the area.
Applying a heating pad for 30-40 minutes.
Taking hot and cold showers.
Stretching after and before sptints.
Taking ibprofen. (1 a day)
Getting into hot tub.
I have never iced them because I'm afraid they will get tighter.
Should I be doing more or less of what I mentioned?
Answer
For the most part you're doing the right things. You should definitely be icing though. When you're done practice, ICE ICE AND MORE ICE. Ice for about 10 mins on, then take the ice off for about 10 mins, then repeat. Do this for about a half hour. Also, before a workout, try dynamic stretching as opposed to static stretching. For example, if you're about to do a track workout, do leg swings and high-knees/butt-kickers and skipping drills. Studies have shown that static stretching before a workout can reduce reflexes. After the workout, make sure you DO static stretch. Do on leg at a time toe touches, and double leg toe touches. Don't bounce up and down. Each stretch should be held for AT LEAST 30 seconds. Also, get plenty of rest and STAY HYDRATED. Hydration is so important. Always have a bottle of water with you. Hope this helps, good luck this season!
