My friends and I really want to do something epic this year for Spring Break, we've been looking at package deals from studentcity.com, and hotels in Nassau, Bahamas, but I have been hearing mixed reviews... Does anyone have any advice, or know where the hottest Spring Break spot is this year? Also were trying to keep it relatively cheap, definitely not trying to exceed over $800 per person.
Thanks!

Answer
100% without question South Padre Island, Texas.. With all of the violence in Mexico with the drug cartels, travel there is WAY DOWN. Also, the BP Oil spill has bookings to Panama City Beach Florida WAY WAY DOWN too.

Nassau is nice - thing is, it's UBER / ultra expensive once you arrive. I mean a large pizza is $25. And the "cruises" over there are on tubs (a/k/a cruise ships you wouldn't put your enemies on. It also lacks a real "club" party scene it's beach and pool. Boring unless you want to shop for overpriced jewelry.

Inertia Tours Chad...OUT!!!!

Reviews from The Ravens Nest

Flying high in the raven's nest cabin

We had a wonderful weekend in Gatlinburg and the cabin, Raven's Nest was great! It has an awesome view, decks all around and is very well stocked. After long busy days, relaxing in the hot tub was heaven. It was such a hoot to be up so high to be able to wave to the people on the tram as they pass right past our deck! And you can see the ski slopes right from your deck! The cabin is a great value and well equipped with a fireplace, wood, tv, stereo, kitchen appliances, foosball table, access to a pool, etc. We will be back!!

Very restful and comfortable

A quiet and private getaway with a beautiful view

They said that this place was private but not very secluded, that I would see some other cabins. Did they have the wrong cabin? This is the only cabin in view where we were, save those across the valley, the little white squares dotted along the beautiful ridges stretched out along the horizon. The cabin was beautiful, private, much larger than we expected (three bedrooms), quiet, perfect for our first time away by ourselves in over 8 years (yes, I should have taken my wife out far more times than that). The only break in our privacy is the tram, which runs right next to the cabin. It runs every 20 minutes, with one coming from each direction about every 10 minutes, at least from 8am until 7PM, and only only in calm weather. So keep an ear open for the hum of the cables overhead, and make sure the jets are running in the hot tub, so no one will know if you're dressed. Worked for us!
For a husband and wife looking for a private getaway, this is a great place. My wife and I will definitely be back again.

Best cabin in the smokies!

We loved this cabin so much, it was clean, and very secluded.. We Couldnt see another house from ours. The view on the master bedroom deck was amazing you could see for miles.. Our kids loved the Foosball table and it was very comfortable... It felt like home, especially since we had a huge T.V. We all enjoyed that :)
