I've just updated the game because it came up with the available update thing.. and one of my person's wishes is to buy a hot tub. I've been through loads of the buying options and I can't see it.. helppppp!

What would a surfer want in his house?

For my architecture project we must create houses for a chosen person/celebrity. I chose surfer Kelly Slater. Any unique ideas?

Location, location, location.
A surfer would want a house near the beach, by his favorite local surfing spot.
BIG windows facing the water.
Big deck to be outdoors, near the water. Outdoor heating stove on the deck to build fires. Electrical outlets for sound systems, and small appliances. BIG hot tub.
Good security system with cameras and recorders.
A place to scrub, wipe, or othewise wipe sand off one's feet before walking into the house. Well sealed decking to be able to safely walk barefoot. Durable Berber carpeting in the rooms leading directly out to the deck. Plusher carpeting in the "comfort" areas like living room, bedrooms and connecting hallways.
Lockable storeage space for boards and other recreational equipment. Space for guest's boards.
Flexible spaces that can be used as guest bedrooms, rec rooms, work out room and/or storage. Loft spaces work very well for this. Fold down Murphy beds behind doors that coordinate with other cabinet spaces along the walls.
Don't sterotype the decor to fit what YOUR idea of what a surfer would like. YOU might like lava lights, tiki torches and palm trees but you don't know if Slater does. Do some research and find out what Kelly likes, what Slater likes to do besides surf, if Kelley cooks and needs a big kitchen or wants kitchen seating or would rather have a separate dining room.
