I think the comma before "your possibilities are varied," is unnecessary. I might be wrong though.

We're in the deep freeze here on the east coast, and my joints are so stiff and swollen. I can't even think about getting started until I soak in a really hot tub just to get moving. Most stuff I read about this says there are no real facts to support the weather/arthritis connection, so I thought I'd take it to you guys.
Oh, and I have Rheumatoid Arthritis.

I also have RA and when I talked to my doctor about it he did say that there is no solid evidence to support that the cold weather makes it worse. But he said that it is also common knowledge that a large number of people experience worsening symptoms during colder months. I keep my house pretty warm, try to do errands and such during the warmest times of day (even though right now those times aren't that warm!), drink a lot of hot tea, and sit in the hot tub several times a day! It sucks but hang in there! We're almost to spring!
