Going to visit the space center in Huntsville Al.so what are some good hotels around the area to stay at with nice pool,hot tubs?

The Westin at Bridgestreet is really nice:) It's pricey, but they have an indoor and outdoor pool, hottub, and a spa. There's also the Marriott Hotel that's on the Space and Rocket Center's grounds, if you want something cheaper.

Why will one travel on a cruise ship that just looks like a city floating on the ocean?

To relax!!
You can pay one fee to go many places, unpack only once, some one else does the cooking, the food and entertainment is included in the fare and you don't have to drive!
It's the most expensive but safest and best darn float trip of your life and you don't have to paddle! :-)
Friends ask where we're going I tell them "On a one-week float trip in the Caribbean"
Cruising the Caribbean (on Carnival) for 5 nights is perhaps cheaper than a 5-day road trip.
Consider these costs for two people for 1 night on a road trip:
(not including taxes, tip or alcohol)
Breakfast: $15
Lunch: $20
Dinner: $30
Entertainment (1 show) $100
Rental Car: $30/day for economy size
Gas.....oh sheesh, pick your $$ poison here.
Hotel stay: $80

Consider this: A great cruise special for a balcony cabin in the middle of a ship (medium price range) if booked very early will cost only $500 per person for 5 nights...that's only $100 per day for a king size bed, private balcony, all you can eat food 3 times a day plus the buffet bars, entertainment day and night, use of the fitness room, outdoor hot tubs and pools, beautiful scenery, 4/5-star dining experience on a ship that looks luxurious.
