I have a gift certificate to a Korean spa in Los Angeles but after seeing some of the reviews I'm a little nervous about going. I made an appointment for a body scrub and massage. Apparently, from what I've read, you lie completely naked on a wet table where they use scrub mittens and scrub you everywhere including your breasts, butt crack, and your genital area. A massage on the same table follows with the same person. Has anyone ever tried this? Is it as invasive as it sounds?

That sounds pretty accurate. It's not as bad as it sounds though.
In the bathhouse of a Korean spa, everybody's completely naked. There are different bathhouses for men and women. Everybody is clothed in the areas of the spa where men and women are together.
If you've never been naked in front of a bunch of other women before, it may be a little bit of a shock, but you'll get over it soon enough. If you think people are staring at you, try and ignore it, but odds are, nobody's going to stare at you unless you try and cover yourself up with the tiny towel they give you.
The body scrub is an interesting and refreshing experience. Sure, it's kind of odd at first, and it might hurt a little bit, depending on how hard the lady is scrubbing, but it's really not that bad. If you can explain to them that it's your first time, I'm sure they'll be a little easier on you. They do scrub your breasts, butt crack and genital area, but they don't really "get in there" with their scrubbing.
After the scrub and massage, your body actually feels very good. Don't be shy and give it a try!
Ah...before you get your scrub, be sure to soak in the tubs with the hot water for a while...that might help make the dead skin come off easier.

Carnival Ecstasy review from a teenagers point of view?

I am 16 years old, and I am about to go onto the Carnival Ecstasy for the first time. I was wondering how other teenagers felt about this cruise? Was Club 02 fun? Was there a lot of dancing/grinding, and were the councilors okay with it? Were there a lot kids on the ship? What is there to do? Is it fun? Etc?

I just got back from a cruise on the Carnival Fascination which is a sister ship (meaning the two ships are identical) to the Ecstacy! I am 17 and i had a blast. I didnt do club 02 i just hung out with my friend who i went with and we went to shows and layed out and hung out by the pool most of the time. I have heard the club is a lot of fun though! A 15 year old boy who sat with us in the dining room was doing the club and had a lot of fun. They had scavenger hunts on the ship and dance parties and a lot of stuff. There was a lot of dancing on the ship they had dance parties in the clubs and on the second to last night of the cruise they had a dance party on the Lido deck for everybody and that was super fun. We did congo lines and everything! There was some grinding but i think no one paid attention counselor wise. There were a lot of kids on the ship and especially a lot of teenagers! I met a lot of new people! If you are stopping at ports those are amazing too. Excursions are great once in a lifetime opportunities! Our cruise went to the bahamas and we did a snorkling excursion and loved it. As for stuff to do on the ship, there are shows (which to be honest i didnt want to go to but once i went to one i loved them!), they have a spa where you can get facials and pedicures, exploring the ship, eating- probably the best part. theres more food than you can imagine. and in the dining room you can order as much as you want. i would order 3 appetizers and it was normal! its amazing. On the top deck there is a track for running, ping pong tables, waterslides, the pool and hot tubs, chairs to lay out and tan in, put put golf, litererally everything! Me and my friend spent most of our time laying out and reading by the pool and swimming. It was my first cruise and it is definitely one of the best vacations i have ever been on in my life. You will have an amazing time! Have fun!!! :)
