Answer
Try a local spa dealer. Hot tubs need chlorine. They might have the chlorine and test kit. You can also substitute regular, liquid, laundry bleach

hot tub wont start. power is on, but nothing happens. Just bought house and hot tub sitting empty.?

myrdh
Tub was empty, when I moved in, but it was running when I initially viewed house before purchase. Owners left no manuals for tub. Breaker was off, switched back on, none of the buttons do anything.

Whew! Nice answers above and if your not comfortable with electricity then call someone to help that is. NOW, with that said, it's is very simple... Take off the side to get access to the "spa pack", Turn the power off at the breaker. Next open the spa pack and look for a green or orange fuse. IT will be a SC-20, SC-25, or SC30 fuse. Most likely green. Remove this fuse and test it with a voltmeter on Omega to test it's continuity. I am betting it is shot. You can get these fuses at Home depot or Lowe's for 5-7 bucks a pop. Get and extra one since one day you will need it again. This is a very common thing to happen. Email me with what brand it is and I can either send you a manual or tell you how to find one. IF you need to you can look me up here in Wilmington NC or email us an email and we can help you further. IF it is not this fuse there's a few more things you can do before you really need to call for help, but I would bet it is the problem.
