I already have a pool, hot tub, grill, and a covered area with a table and chairs.
Only have a half an acre so cant go too nuts!
I dont have any deed restrictions or anything like that.
I was thinking some type of pond with a bridge over it, or a fire pit, or a fire table, I like fire.
Already have 2 dogs and lots of beer in the cooler!

I love to do gardens and plan open spaces.
Half an acre is sizeable and will not look small even if you build things around it, as long as they blend with the general look.
You can consider the following:
1. An area where you can build a shaded swing, made of wood. No, not the kiddie swings from the hardware or department store, they will ruin the look. This can be lovelier at night, when only a candle on a glass lamp is lit.
2. dedicate an area for a bonsai collection. or an orchids collection. This will liven up your place, and will add character.
3. Create a greenhouse where you can grow herbs like basil, tarragon, rosemary, thyme, green tea, mint, lavender, etc. You can offer tea to guests and pick tea leaves from the green house.
4. Create a covered hut where you can spread a mat and pillows. This can function like a yoga area, or a massage/spa area.
I love all of these, and actually have all of these in my property.

Problem with creating ambient gradient temps?

I'm setting up a rubber tub with flexwatt as the heat source, and I'm having trouble with the gradient range. My hot end and cool end air temps are like, one degree different. Right now I'm using a small space heater, on the other side of the room, and it's heating my room to appropriate temps. But as I mentioned before, i'm having an issue. I have the flexwatt covering 1/3 of the bottom of the tub, and have surface temperatures perfect. Any tips or advice? Has anyone had this issue before?

What are the temperature measurements? If your surface gradient is good then don't worry about air temp, as long as the air is somewhere between the hot and cold spots on the ground.
