best round hot tubs image

Bam Bam M
I am considering purchasing a new home with a 20' x 40' inground pool, the pool has 6-man hot tub that overflows into it. Both are heated. The home is in the Houston, TX area. It is gunite, 9' deep, and not salt water. How much do you think the chlorine would cost on a monthly basis? What would you think the monthly heating cost would be? It is computer-controlled, so how much could I save by only running the heater at certain times? In the Houston area, how much of the year is the heater on the pool even needed? Would it be possible to convert to a salt water system?
Answer
If you do your own maintenance, cost of chemicals isnt much. A bigger expense is bringing in somebody to do your sweeping, skimming, ph balance, and filter care.
IF you swim 365 days a year, you will need some heater time. Depends on how you like your water, and whether you do the hottub year round.
Install a solar system for your pool water. It'll save a lot of $$'s. Just heat the spa. It may heat the pool well enough, except for the coldest months. Turn on your heater half the time, you save half the expense of heating the pool.
You could go saltwater, but why would yo uwant to. It takes a lot more time and expense to keep clean, and judging from my friends saltwater fish tank, a lot more equipment.

Do they make seat inserts for whirlpool tub?

I bought a new home recently and upgraded to a nice whirlpool jet tub. I guess I was thinking that this would be like a jacuzzi where there are molded seats...do they sell anything that you can install / insert a molded seat in a hot tub??
Maria.....thank you for an answer but it has absolutely nothing to do with my question.

New Glacier Bay Toilet leaks
The seal you're talking concerning is difficult to urge into the outlet properly. It tends to require to "bunch up" on one aspect or the opposite. the best manner that i do know of to put in it's to position the seal on the tank and so to wet the seal and wiggle the tank as you set the tank onto the rear of the bowl. Water based mostly jelly conjointly works (better). simply apply meagerly if exploitation the jelly; place to a small degree round the seal, and to a small degree round the wrought socket of the bowl, and place the tank on the bowl. wiggle the tank back and forth gently, then align the tank with the bowl and insert the bolts. If you have got a mirror and torch, use them to assist examine your work as you go.
