best hot tubs of 2012 image

Miss Kitty
My fiance` and I are considering on going to Toronto for our honeymoon. Our wedding will be Dec 21st of 2012, so we will be leaving on the 22nd and hoping to stay until either just before New Years, or just after depending on what's going on up there then.
We love the history and multi-cultural aspect of the city, but have never gone, and this is our first real trip to Canada.
What is there to see and do?
I live in Michigan, so a little cold is nothing to me! lol
Answer
Where are you coming from?
Toronto is fairly festive over the holidays. City Hall is all lit up with lights and there's an ice rink there where many people ice skate.
It's pretty bustling around Xmas, with all the last-minute shoppers. It's already started.
Niagara Falls is a must. It's only about 2 hours away and is really nice in winter with the ice and snow surrounding the falls, and the lighting on the falls at night. I would definitely see about getting a room with a view of the falls. I did that one Xmas, and it was beautiful. I stayed at the Radisson. The suite had a great view, with a nice hot tub right up by the window, so I could soak in the hot tub and look out at that wonder of nature.
It can be cold, but if you dress for it, it shouldn't be a problem. There's also a lot of shopping indoors, and underground downtown. You can walk from Eaton Centre (large mall right downtown), south, through the "PATH" system to Union Station, and from there almost to the CN Tower, all covered. It's quite a distance.
Going up the CN Tower is always fun. It's very tall and even has part of the floor as glass that you can stand on.
If you've never been to Canada, try a Nanaimo bar. It's a dessert that's popular at Christmas in Canada, originally from a small city on the west coast, but now popular around North America. Sometimes Starbucks will have them. Some bakeries and grocery stores have them. You can even make them if you want. You can pick up an easy kit at a store. No baking is required. They've got chocolate, custard, and nuts. Yum!
New Years has lots of options. There are tons of clubs and pubs downtown, and all over Toronto, to have a drink and do the countdown at.
Winter doesn't stop Torontonians from anything. You could almost say the city is more alive in winter.

Which cruise line would be best for our honeymoon?

Mike
My fiancee and I will be getting married and hope to go on a cruise for our honeymoon in 2012 sometime. We are both childish and she loves Disney, so that is a great choice. My only worry is how many children will be running around; a honeymoon has to have some quiet time involved. I've heard good things about RC and Princess as well; is Princess a "girly" cruise? Don't mean to be condescending, I just have no clue at all. Opinions?
Answer
I cruised with Princess for my honeymoon, and it was perfect. Princess is classy and not so glitzy. It doesn't have things like a climbing wall, or an ice rink, but we were never bored. We went in late June, and there wasn't too many kids around. There was always a place for quiet time, especially at the adults only pools and hot tubs. Most people say that Princess is more for older people, but we were mid twenties and really enjoyed our cruise. I highly recommend it.
