Hi,

I have a whirlpool style bath that is made out of "marble dust". Over the weekend the bathtub started to leak and water came down through the ceiling. It looks like there is a hairline crack in the bottom of the bathtub. Is it possible to repair this crack and how can it be done?

Cyanuric Acid - Is there a chemical I can add to my pool to react out excess cyanuric acid?

Joe P

I overdosed my pool with shock resulting in a cyanuric acid concentration > 100 ppm which causes the water to be cloudy and green. Standard procedure is to drain 50 to 80% of the water in the pool and refill. That's expensive and time consuming. It seems I should be able to add a base (NaOH?) to react with and lower the cyanuric acid concentration.

Check out some of these forums and see if this helps? Also you might want to call some pool stores in your area for advice?
