Has anyone ever moved a hot tub?

We're trying to find a way to move a hot tub from one home to another...the hot tub is in Indiana and residence is in Ohio. The largest rental truck (U-Haul) is only 7 ft. wide and 6 1/2 ft. tall and the hot tub is 8 ft. in diameter. We don't have a hitch so we can't use a trailer. Are there companies who will move such a thing from one state to another?

I know it probably depends on the size but someone I know slipped on soap suds whilst getting out of a yatesee's hot tub and wondered if they can make a claim against the proprietor of the home it was in. The Hot Tub was full to capacity with people.

There are a lot of factors involved here, first of all what size was the Yatesee's Hot Tub and how many people were in it, then if your friend was intoxicated and how badly injured they were and was it the fault of some one else or the owner for overcrowding, or your friends own fault.
I would suggest contacting a solicitor ut I would presume that Yes your friend can make a claim against the owner of the property and against his insurance.
If they can find out the size of the Yatesse's Hot Tub and how many it can safely accomodate and it was over crowded then I would imagine they certainly have a case
