My parents are thinking about getting a hot tub for our home (It was my idea) and they said to find a place that sells cheap hot tubs and we can go over and look at them. I tried looking online but I didnt really find anything.

I have been trying for weeks to sell my hot tub. It is in excellent condition (clean and ready to use immediately). It has a very nice enclosure with sides that can be opened or remain closed and is very pretty.

The only catch is, I paid $10,000 for it only a year ago and would love to get $6,000 for it. It's been on Craigslist and I haven't had one person interested.

What are some tips you might have to sell something so pricey on Craigslist? What would be a good catagory/headline for this item? Thank you!

On many home sales, the owners have to move the hot tub if the buyer doesn't want it. $10,000 tubs that are less than 5 years old sell for a max of $500. Some tub owners have faced a situation where the cost of moving the tub is $400 (to pay a mover).

The category would probably be Household Items.

Put up notices in local realty offices saying the spa is for sale and you might find a buyer.
