I was thinking about booking a Royal Caribbean Cruise and I was wondering how much it cost for a inside cabin. And all the other fees. Also if there is any deals for how many people go on the cruise together. I am taking 3 people on the cruise including me.Thank you!
Answer
All cruise cabins are sold based on double occupancy and the prices listed will be per person and based on at least two people going on the cruise. (If you have a 3rd and/or 4th person in your cabin their fare is generally about 50% of the first two persons. AND, sometimes cruise lines will run specials where the 3rd and 4th person in your cabin gets a huge discount and pay only about $200 each) The price you pay will depend mostly on the type cabin/accommodations that you choose.
There are 4 basic types of cabins on ships;
- inside (no window),................................⦠least expensive
- outside (a window or porthole),
- balcony/veranda, and
- suites and penthouses.......................... most expensive.
On some Royal Caribbean ships they have inside cabins that overlook an interior pedestrian mall and they are a great price. The "FROM" prices you see will always be for an inside cabin. The price will depend on how many days the cruise is, how early you book (early bookings get the best discounts), and whether you book a "special or deal" Royal Caribbean usually has great prices on deals and when you pick the lowest priced date.
For example, look at these two cruise listings:
http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/cruiseDetails/itineraryAndPricing.do;jsessionid=0000sYoaEX6wbTd2AJWBSeb94fq:12hdhu87a?packageCode=FR07E029®ion=CARIB&ship=FR&date=ANY&selectedCurrencyCode=&promoType=&hasSenior=&hasMilitary=&hasFireandPolice=&state=

So you can get an inside cabin for a 7 day cruise for about $500 per person and that's a great price. The third person in you cabin would be about $250. So the average would be about $450 per person.
You can reserve a cruise by (1) booking on line; (2) by calling the cruise line, or (3) through a travel agent. You will pay at booking the minimum deposit which will be about $250 for a 7 day cruise. The balance will be due approximately 60 days before the cruise departure date. But you can make periodic payment on line, with your travel agent, or with the cruise line.
For the most part all cruises are all inclusive. Regardless of which cruise you select the things that are included are pretty much the same. The price of your cruise includes your cabin, all meals (including breakfast, lunch dinner, snacks and free room service), free admissions to all shows and entertainment, and free use of all facilities on ship like the pools, hots tubs, gym, disco, etc,., except spa services. The things that you will have to pay for are gratuities (tips) alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, photos that you want, any tours from the ship you want to take, spa services like massages, and internet service. Gratuities will be about $10 per day per person and cover the cabin steward, waiter and assistant and the Matre'd. Other tips are added to drink orders at a rate of 15%.

how do I test a breaker with a multi meter to determine if it is the breaker or tub controller?

I have a hot tub which is tripping the 50 amp gfi. When I reset the gfi, it trips after 5 or 6 minutes under load. I can add more load (pumps) within the first 1 or 2 minutes and it does not trip. The hot tub repair man said it was the gfi breaker...how do I test the breaker with a multi meter to determine if it is the breaker or tub controller
Answer
With a GFI breaker you really cant test it. the trip point is based on a returning ground loop. You can test the amp trip as stated by the other lister below, but that will not tell you if the gfi Portion is bad.
GFIs are a royal pane at times do to the can be bad right out of the box. on hot tubs, pools, and spas GFIs will go bad if you get any type of poor installation, electrical surge, lightning hit close etc.
Chances are that the breaker is BAD.. but refer changing it to a licensed Electrical contractor to to the way they interconnect with the electrical panel.
