My family plans to stay in a hotel for a few nights, and go to Alabama Adventure one of those days..Where's a good hotel thats pretty close to Alabama Adventure and has an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, free breakfast, weight room?

Where do the outdoor tree frogs hibernate during Midwest winters?

Live in Northern Illinois. I have two tree frogs that like my hot tub. Where should they be during the winter?

Treefrogs usually hibernate in underground burrows, or inside rotting logs. Some apparently follow tree roots into underground crevices.
"Torpor (Hibernation). Wright (1932) speculated that gray treefrogs remained active in Georgia "until November at least." Harlan (1835, in Wright, 1932) relates collecting a specimen several feet below the surface of the ground from under a root of an apple tree in winter. Burkholder (1998) discovered hibernacula of Cope's gray treefrogs near the bases of sugar maple trees (Acer saccharum), 2.5â5.0 cm below the soil surface, as well as within leaf litter of varying depths; all individuals were found < 1 m from the base of each tree investigated."
