My husband and I are planning a romantic getaway for Christmas this year---I really love the natural hot springs in Colorado but am open to any other ideas (we live in TN and want to get away this year) . Thanks!

I love the natural hot springs... my favorite are in Ouray, it looks like Switzerland in that area. There are lots of cabins to stay in around the Estes Park/Rocky Mtn National Park entrance and many of them have outdoor hot tubs you can hang out in while the snow is coming down. You could go snowshoeing in Rocky Mtn National Park and come back to the hot tub...On the other side of the park (west side) is Hot Sulpher Springs, another good hot springs place. OR a much cheaper place (and really fun too) would be Cripple Creek and Victor Colorado. The Hotel St Nicholas has an outdoor hot tub on the roof. I loved that in the winter- it overlooks Cripple Creek and the whole town is decorated in lights- looks like a Victorian Christmas. They have really fun plays at the Butte Theater for Christmas too- the old fashioned kind where you throw popcorn and boo at the villains in the play. How do i throw the hottest summer party ever? one that wil be talked about for months?

Ok so lemme give some information on myself. I live in california and have an indoor pool(which is weird here) and an outdoor hot tub. I used to be the party king and my parties were of legend when they'd get the invite it was like getting an invite to the white house. But I have not had one for 2 years since an incident in which the party was big flop and i was so embarrassed and everyone was bad mouthing it. But in 2 weeks I hope to have another one, but have NOTHING planned and I am panicking and getting worried they'll be a repeat of 2 years ago. I wanted some ideas and how to implement those ideas. I want some ideas that are gonna WOW the guests I mean some really cool ideas, and any theme you guys can think of, I really need some help and would love it if I got some. BTW my budget is $500(i know it used to be 10x that but the economy sucks now)

you'd think haveing an indoor pool would be enough to wow your friends but i guess if they've been there enough they're over it but some of my friends really like "sexy parties" you come up with a theme like "your everyday workers" and everyone would dress up as a hot version of say a police officer or a construction worker etc.
another cool theme would be something like fun in the sun and you could decorate with like a beach theme but you could be swimming inside so you dont get sunburnt and all that.
