well the picnic is like i say at most 30 people not even and like I didn't hear anyone mention the obvious ...PLATES!!. but something that no one would ever think of to bing would be nice.

Answer
You didn't mention the age or the number of guests at the picnic you want to feed and entertain......so here are my ideas.

Food:

1. Sandwiches on a kaiser or fresh bakery french bread........roast a turkey breast of thighs in the oven

2. Cold chicken, fried or roasted

3. Cold grilled jumbo tiger shrimp (peeled) and home made coctail sauce

4. Spinach salad......with bacon and egg and homemade dressing.

5. Buy a pack of grated cabbage.....and a bottle of Marzetti's cole slaw dressing........add some pineapple crushed or tidbits to it.

6. Red potato salad made with sour cream, add some baby boiled carrots and peas and green onions or red onion

7. Seven layer green salad with romaine

8. Sliced strawberries in a tub of whipping cream......and short cake

9. Cup cakes

10. Watermelon balls.....cantelope balls.....other type of summer mellon balls......some grapes.........pineapple......

Games:

1. Small Water balloons.........and a ping pong paddle....or a pancake turner or flat small soup ladle...see who can balance it the furtherst before is falls and breaks.

2. Beach balls------great for beach ball volley ball or dodge ball........you can get the weighted beach balls too......they are funny....

3. Nerf Balls of all sizes

4. Tug of war

5. Horse shoes

6. Nerf baseball-------it is funnier as the ball is so light weight it goes all over the place not like regular baseball.....

7. Play musical beach towel...depending on the age group have them sit or stand on the towels......same as you do for musical chairs....

8. Hoola Hoops

9. You can play hot potato with nerf balls or the weighted beach balls.

10. Bubble gum blowing bubbles contest

11. Bottles of soap bubbles

12. Who can carry a nerf ball the furtherst on the bridge of their nose

13. Cloth frisbees and cloth boomerangs

The reason I use nerf balls, beach balls, and cloth toys is that it is safer for everyone involved including other people at the park.......you won't injure some one or be injured yourself!

Go to a Dollar Tree they have the toys I have listed above....so it would be fairly cheap for the toys.

What is the best way to plan my Honeymoon to Costa Rica?

dylanreid3

I am trying to plan a honeymoon to Costa Rica and I do not know how to plan it. I do not want to get ripped off by an agency so I do not know which one to pick, I want something all inclusive, any suggestions?

Answer
first decide when you are going, jan-april the best time oct-dec the worst exspecially oct and november rain central.

once you know when you are going buy your ticket down.

no need to hang in san jose not much to see, if you do get stuck in between travels i stay at this hotel yearly, its cheap, does the job and an amazin free breakfast...http://www.hotelaranjuez.com/

take bus everywhere the cheapest way to go around, most leave the coca cola bus station, please get a little spanish translation book it will help you alot!! they have one at barnes and noble costa rica its small and amazing!!!

if you want to go up north you can take a bus the first or second day to hot springs/volcano
its like a 3-4 hour bus ride, i recommend stayin http://hotelmountainparadise.com/ its nice you get great view, free breakfast, and personal hot tub, then get taxi to hot springs for a day pass 35 bucks, we liked baldi hot springs. or you could rent a car for a day or two from san jose and drive, just make sure please you get full insurance trust me, and if you get into an accident you must must must get a police report of they wont honor your insurance, trust me it happened to me.

then from there choose a beach town... and chill, if you go carribean puerto viejo very lush, tropical, you can bike everywhere, great surfing, weed friendly, cool town, good night scene lots of restaurants, go on craigslist and you'll find some rentals i like cocles better its a bit out of town and more romantic secluded, or stay intown at coco loco lodge, its quiet but close to everything you get own bungelow.

if you go for pacific, try southern nicoya montezuma, mal pais santa teresa area, you can do montezuma in a day or two they have waterfall you jump off of, nice beaches, very hippy small town with one bar, cool vibe, then go by bus to santa teresa great surfing, more lively night club on the beach day and night, lots of lodging options. you can zip line anywhere in costa rica, montezuma is known for horseback riding tours, marvin in a good horseman, and zip line where you take a break at the waterfall for a dip.

no need to spend on tour guides, near montezuma cabo blanco is a national reserve you can hike 2 hours to a small private beach 2 hours back its quite the experience.

have fun! pura vida, eat civiche its the best down there. oh i just saw you want all inclusive while im sure they might have them costa rica isnt the best place for that, and you are better off renting a cheap place and paying for food and beer its cheap, costa rica is more of a romantic adventure destination. and you will find rooms for 40-60 a night, meals are 4-7 a meal and beer is a dollar.
