The other links are good. Add this one to your search: http://www.cottageliferentals.com/
...and this: http://www.cottagerental.com/site_map.htm (Out of curiosity, I did a quick search at this site, and found a wide array of properties listed. Rates from about $1,200/week to around $4,000 being the typical range...depending on when you go.)
For luxury, you'll probably want the Muskoka/Gravenhurst area. (Muskoka has probably the biggest concentration of multi-million dollar cottages in Ontario.) But everything north of Toronto and south of Sudbury is pretty much considered "cottage country", so there might be a lovely rental in any part of Ontario.
Ontarians also like to cottage at Wasage Beach, Sauble Beach, and Grand Bend. There may be some nice cottages for rent on either Lake Ontario (Toronto to Ottawa area), or Lake Erie (southwestern Ontario).
I have a beach house on Lake Ontario (just outside Toronto) but, sadly, I don't know of any rental cottages to recommend. I also have a cottage (well...and island) near Sudbury. But I don't know of any rentals I could recommend in that area, either.
You might want to consider something in Niagara Falls (the honeymoon capital of the world) or in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
There's also Prince Edward County http://www.pec.on.ca/pec_yellowpages/yellowpages.php3?category=45
Personally, I've actually stayed at this place http://www.bettergetaway.com/ It's near Ottawa, and it is a private guest house located on 100 acres of wooded land. While the owners' home is right there, too, they leave you in peace. You have the whole guest house to yourself, and one of the owners is a chef, and can make pretty much any food you'd like. Since it's just the one guest house, you get very personalized service. It's not super-luxurious. (well...I suppose that depends on your level of taste. By comparison, I usually spend $500-$2,000/night on hotel rooms.) But it's by no means "low rent". (The photos at the web site are reasonably accurate. I think the place looks better in-person, though.) There's a decent size bathroom with a jacuzzi tub (shown in photos) and a steam shower (not shown), as well as a king-sized bed with decent duvet. There is a small kitchen with ample utensils, etc. There's an outdoor hot tub, hammock, telescope and binoculars, etc., etc. There are lots of trails around the 100 acres. The guest house is octangonal, and was built on-site, using lumber harvested from the property. (I don't believe there's cable, so if you like watching television, a small t.v. and DVD player will have to suffice.)
